Our school has been selected as recipient of IBM KidSmart Early Learning Program, designed to provide pre-schoolers adn grade 1-3 computer specialization at an early age. The program includes provision of a unit of Young Explorer, a personal computer incased in Little Tykes Furniture and has been loaded software from Edmark. The program has integrated different learning areas to enhance the Multiple Intelligences of the pupils.
Prior to the selection of beneficiary, Public Relation Officer (PRO) of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has conducted interviews and site inspection in different school staff, security of the premises, acceptability and cooperation of the parents and barangay residents and school initiative in self-improvement evidently shown by our school outstanding accomplishments as well as the result of the National Achievement Test in three (3) years.
Last October 9, 2007, we are formally notified by the PRO-SBMA Department Head, Ms. Armie Belleza-Llamas thru their Community Relations Officer, Mr. Jigs Estalilla that we passed the criteria and the only candidate beneficiary in the province of Bataan. The next day with her initiative I wrote a letter to Ms. Andrea Escalona, Community Marketing Manager of IBM Philippines, Inc. On October 15, 2007 I requested permission from the School Division Superintendent of Bataan, Dr. Flordeliza R. Magday to allow us to attend the three-day live-in seminar in EduQuest Computer Program for Early Childhood Education held at SBMA International Hotel which was held on October 24-26, 2007.
On the last day of training, the Municipal Mayor was invited and in a ceremonial turn-over accepted the unit ably witnessed by the Asst. Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Jessie Ferrer who delivered an inspiring and challenging message.
The Municipal Mayor, Dr. Cynthia Linao-Estanislao turned-over the unit to the school staff and pupil beneficiaries, witnessed by the parents and PRO-SBMA personnel on November 12, 2007. After the program, grade I to III teachers were met by the principal and planned the succeeding activities for the remaining class days of the year. Schedule of each class was finalized.

After the first week, an assessment was conducted and the following problems were discussed.
a. Eagerness to use the computer led pupils ignore the other activities especially for grade I pupils.
b. Groupings
c. Reproduction of materials to be used
The teachers share each experience to address the above said problem and the program goes on smoothly.
With the help of the Almighty we hope this will serve as a toll to enhance the teaching-learning process in our school and lead the pupil discover their potentials in keeping abreast of Information Technology.
